The agricultural machinery industry is in full recovery in a different economic context.

New winds are blowing through the agricultural machinery business. The data confirm this, but so does the sentiment of agribusiness owners. According to the latest INDEC data, sales reached $512 billion between January and March. This figure, which includes sales of tractors, combine harvesters, seeders, and implements, represents a real year-over-year increase of 22% and is more than 12% above the average of the previous five years.

This growth in sales is entirely due to a higher number of units sold. In this regard, in the first quarter of 2025, agricultural machinery sales totaled 3,628 units, marking a year-over-year increase of 31% and 3% above the average sales of the last five years.

And these data are confirmed by the protagonists of this sector during Agroactiva.

For Sergio Karin , Massey Ferguson’s Commercial Director for Latin America, “we are experiencing a great moment in Argentina as an economy,” and he believes that the countryside is being positively impacted by decisions that have already been made, although a more focused approach to agriculture is still needed.
